About this role: Digital, Data, and AI (DDAI) within Consumer Banking & Lending (CBL) is seeking a Director of Digital Product Strategy to join its Digital Strategy team. This leader will set direction across a portfolio of strategic digital, data and AI priorities, lead and develop a team, and partner across product, design, technology, data, and business teams to shape roadmaps, drive execution, and deliver measurable business and customer outcomes. The role requires strong enterprise leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to translate complex opportunities into clear, executive-ready strategies and decisions.This role is ideal for a strategic product leader who can independently tackle ambiguous, enterprise-level problems, lead through influence and formal people management, and build alignment across senior stakeholders while coaching a team to deliver high-impact outcomes.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Lead a team responsible for shaping and advancing digital product strategy across a portfolio of high-priority initiatives, ensuring alignment to business goals, customer needs, and enterprise prioritiesManage, coach, and develop talent, including setting priorities, providing feedback, supporting career growth, and building a high-performing team cultureSet strategic direction and drive resolution of highly complex, cross-functional business and product challenges that require enterprise thinking, sound judgment, and strong prioritizationPartner with senior leaders to define product and portfolio priorities, operating rhythms, decision frameworks, and success measures for large-scale digital initiativesPartner with analytics teams to analyze, identify insights and convert those to actions for the DDAI leadershipInfluence and align leaders across product, design, engineering, analytics, operations, risk, and control partners to accelerate delivery and remove obstaclesCreate and deliver executive-ready communications, recommendations, and decision materials for senior leadership, often under tight timelines and with evolving inputsEstablish clear team goals, ways of working, and governance practices to improve execution, visibility, and accountability across the portfolioDrive strategic planning by synthesizing market trends, customer insights, business performance, and platform considerations into actionable product strategiesServe as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a visible leader within the organization, helping shape priorities, strengthen talent, and scale product management best practicesRequired Qualifications: 10+ years of digital product management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of management or leadership experienceDesired Qualifications:Tier 1 consulting firm experience is preferredExperience leading teams in digital product management, strategy, or related functions, with a track record of developing talent and driving results through othersExperience developing digital product strategies through cross-functional collaboration, leveraging analytics, customer insights, and competitive market scans to inform priorities and recommendationsStrong strategic, analytical, and structured thinking skills; able to frame ambiguous problems, assess tradeoffs, and guide teams toward clear decisionsDemonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and partner effectively across product, design, engineering, data, and business stakeholdersExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create polished, executive-ready presentations and present to senior audiencesExperience operating in complex, highly matrixed environments and leading cross-organizational initiatives involving product, platform, data, technology, and control partnersExperience in financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industriesExperience using customer insights, performance data, and market trends to inform digital product strategy; exposure to AI, data, or advanced analytics is a plusJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
