Accountant

We are assisting our client in the Ames area with their search for an Accountant . In this role, you will work directly with clients and handle various accounting duties. The position offers a family-friendly, laid-back environment and a flexible summer schedule.
Work Model:
- On-Site
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries
- Generate and analyze monthly financial statements
- Resolve client issues promptly
- File monthly sales and use returns
- Associate's degree or higher in accounting or related field; equivalent years of experience also considered
- Prior experience within client accounting, bookkeeping, and tax is preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of Iowa sales and use tax regulations
- A strong user of QuickBooks and Excel
- Dental, health, and vision insurance

- $50,000 - $70,000 per Year
