APEX Placement & Consulting has partnered with an exceptional healthcare organization in Chesterfield, VA seeking a dedicated Executive Chef to join their culinary leadership team. This individual will oversee all culinary operations, ensuring outstanding food quality, resident satisfaction, financial performance, and team development. Keep reading for more details!

• Lead all culinary operations, including food production, menu execution, catering, and special events
• Develop seasonal menus and resident-focused dining experiences that enhance satisfaction and engagement
• Manage food costs, labor budgets, purchasing strategies, and inventory controls
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop culinary staff while fostering a positive team culture
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, HACCP, OSHA, and regulatory standards
• 7+ years of culinary leadership experience, including Executive Chef or senior culinary management experience
• Experience within healthcare, senior living, hospitality, contract food service, or a related industry preferred
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing food costs, labor budgets, and operational performance
• Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing culinary teams
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
