This position is a Day Shift, 5x8.0 schedule.

This is a 13-week contract position.

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs and physician direction. This role requires adherence to professional standards and organizational compliance while prioritizing patient and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to create treatment plans focused on achieving discharge goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address barriers to patient discharge.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions based on patient needs.
• Document medical records accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in the student program by providing supervision and evaluation.
• Engage in professional development through continued education and involvement in relevant organizations.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association.
• BLS Certification.
• One or more years of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
