Help Desk Support

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Entry‑Level Help Desk Support professional to join our IT team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals beginning their career in IT support. You will receive training while assisting users with basic technical issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and ensuring excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system. Assist users with basic hardware, software, printer, and network-related issues. Log, track, and update support tickets accurately. Troubleshoot common Windows, Microsoft Office, and email‑related problems. Install, configure, and update software applications under supervision. Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior support staff. Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access requests. Support the setup of desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripheral devices. Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and solutions. Follow company IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines. Deliver friendly, professional, and timely customer service. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or currently completing the final semester). Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts. Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking. Willingness to learn new technologies and technical processes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Preferred Skills Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft365. Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Familiarity with remote desktop tools. Exposure to ticketing systems is a plus.
