Since 1965, Aircraft Spruce and Specialty has been the largest distributor of small aircraft parts and supplies. We are seeking a detail oriented Accounts Payable processor to compile and process our accounts payable records. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and the proper accounting procedures are followed to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities :

· Reviews all invoices for approval and other appropriate documentation and information;

· Able to process and enter 200-300 invoices per week.

· Reconciles vendor statements

· Ensures credit is received/applied for outstanding credit memos

· Researches and solves vendor inquiries and discrepancies.

· Makes approved adjustment to vendor accounts as needed.

· Accurately code invoices for payment in accounting system.

· Update and maintain vendor database.

· Researches and prepares reports as directed.

· Continuously updates job knowledge by participating in education opportunities.

· Responsible for the timely and orderly filing of a paperwork generated by daily tasks.

· Works closely with accounting team members to ensure all daily tasks are completed as deadlines dictate.

· Manager may assign additional responsibilities.

Required Skills :

· Live Company Values and Standards of Conduct.

· Must be a team player; Ability to ask for help when needed and offer help when needed.

· 2 years plus office experience in administrative or accounting role

· 1 year plus using Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel

· Good written and verbal English communication skills;

· Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative.

· Ability to type 50 words per minute. Ability to use ten-key calculator by touch.

· Able to prioritize multiple projects and produce results with finite deadlines.

· Lifelong learner; Interested in trying and learning new skills and/or techniques.
