Controls Installer / Electrician - Tampa, FL - $20-$40/hour (DOE) About the Opportunity A rapidly expanding HVAC & Building Automation services provider is adding Controls Installers / Electricians in the Tampa region. Location: Tampa, FL Hiring: Entry-Level, Mid-Level, and Senior Installers Pay: $20.00 - $40.00/hour (DOE) Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (role/region dependent) Key Responsibilities Install, mount, label, and wire BAS control panels, controllers, relays, sensors, and field devices Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage cabling for control systems Support technicians and programmers during system startup and commissioning Interpret and follow electrical schematics, control wiring diagrams, and jobsite documentation Work safely and adhere to local electrical codes, OSHA standards, and company practices Document installation tasks, update redlines, and assist with as-built documentation Ideal Candidate Experience as a Controls Installer, Low-Voltage Electrician, or related trade position Hands-on skills in conduit, device mounting, terminations, and labeling Familiarity with BAS components such as control panels, actuators, and sensors Competency using electrical meters, toners, and basic hand tools Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Valid driver's license with ability to travel throughout Florida What's Offered Competitive hourly rate: $20.00 - $40.00/hour (DOE) 401(k): 100% match up to 3%, 50% match on 4-5% Flexible Spending Accounts, Life, and Disability coverage Vacation and holiday pay Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (territory/role dependent) Advancement path into Controls Technician and BAS Programming roles Opportunities to grow into commissioning or project leadership positions Exposure to enterprise-level Building Automation and integration work Client Sectors Commercial buildings and Class A properties Schools, municipalities, and public-sector facilities Healthcare, industrial, and mission-critical environments If you're an ambitious installer or electrician ready to grow within the Building Automation field,this Tampa-based opportunity offers stability, strong benefits, and consistent project work across Florida. #J-18808-Ljbffr ControlsJobs
