The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's portfolio exposure to client and counterparties globally.Responsibilities:Develop framework for portfolio risk assessment including evaluation of credit and financial performance across varied lending products and industry segmentsUnderstand applicable credit policies, industry regulations and the requisite impact of those governance items to prospective new partners or product initiativesEstablish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal and external constituenciesUtilize Statistical Analysis System (SAS) in a UNIX environment to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, sampling, forecasting and new program due diligencePrepare risk management presentations for senior management that include analytics on expected portfolio performance and areas of potential risk and/or opportunityHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomyActs as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team membersMentor and guide junior analysts on the team, fostering their technical and analytical developmentAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Recommended Qualifications:8-10 years of experience in credit card risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industryProven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goalsDemonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritizeProven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated interpersonal, organizational and analytic skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to a senior audienceEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Engineering, or related quantitative disciplineMaster's degree preferred------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Risk Management------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Portfolio Credit Risk Management------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Wilmington Delaware United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$114,720.00 - $172,080.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
