You’ll partner across teams to deliver responsible growth and a great customer experience.As a Vice President, Head of Balance Transfer Strategy in Credit Solutions, you will own the end-to-end strategy and performance for balance transfers offered to existing credit card customers, translating insights into decisions that improve customer and business outcomes.Job responsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end balance transfer strategy, including growth priorities, offer design, pricing, targeting, segmentation, and eligibilityManage full business performance and financial outcomes, setting clear objectives and tracking results through disciplined reportingBuild and run a test-and-learn agenda across segments, channels, lifecycle moments, and offer constructs to drive measurable impactPartner with product, marketing, risk, finance, analytics, operations, legal, compliance, and controls to evaluate tradeoffs and deliver outcomesInfluence roadmap priorities by defining high-value opportunities, expected outcomes, and business requirementsTranslate customer needs, behavioral insights, portfolio trends, and macro dynamics into clear recommendations and business casesProduce executive-ready updates that simplify complex topics and support fast, high-quality decision-makingLead cross-functional execution from strategy through implementation with strong accountability and stakeholder managementDevelop and coach a high-performing team while sustaining strong governance, risk management, and controlsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMinimum 8 years of experience in strategy, product management, consumer lending, credit cards, financial services, consulting, analytics, risk management, finance, or marketing strategyDemonstrated experience owning or materially influencing financial outcomes for a lending, payments, financial services, or customer growth businessStrong executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complexity, frame tradeoffs, and present clear recommendationsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial, customer, credit, and marketing data and translate insights into decisionsExperience developing segmentation, targeting, pricing, offer, or channel strategies that drive measurable business outcomesProven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environmentCustomer-centered problem-solving skills that connect customer needs to operational realities and business performanceStrong execution discipline, including prioritization, decision-making with imperfect information, and delivering to timelinesBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsMBA or advanced degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, marketing, or a related fieldExperience with U.S. credit cards, unsecured lending, existing customer marketing, portfolio management, promotional financing, or balance transfer productsBackground in pricing strategy, credit risk strategy, segmentation, campaign optimization, marketing analytics, or digital product strategyHands-on experience applying AI or advanced analytics to workflows such as targeting, pricing analysis, test design, performance diagnostics, or process automationExperience building materials for executive business reviews, investment forums, governance, or strategic planningFamiliarity with regulatory, control, compliance, and governance expectations for consumer lending productsApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
