Warehouse SupervisorThe Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all work tasks and functions in the warehouse facility.Responsibilities:Manage team responsible for all inbound/outbound UPS/Fedex/LTL shipmentsOversee packaging operation to ensure weekly shipping schedules are met and material is packaged properly for domestic and international shipmentsApplying accurate packaging costsDirect work of warehouse staff, address any performance issues as requiredMaintain company stock of packaging materials including but not limited to lumber, hardware, tools, shrink wrap, etcProvide crating recommendations and cost estimates to salesOversee all functions of the warehouse including inventory/picking/packing/shipping/receiving/scheduling trucks and perform those duties as neededAbility to shift personnel and priorities with short notice as rush orders ariseProvide updates and promptly respond to requests from internal groupsCoordinate with QA, inside sales, and our Bristol warehouse to ensure the transfer of material for our manufacturing projectsInvestigate shipping discrepancies for material that is wrong/damaged/missing from outside vendors and internally from the Bristol warehouseUse automated packaging equipment, automated inventory handling equipment, other automated machinery, saws, handheld tools, and/or fork trucks to complete daily tasks. Employees using tools, automated machinery/equipment, and fork trucks will be provided with proper training and safety devices.Make sure all safety guidelines and procedures are followed throughout the departmentRequirements:High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED), some college experience preferred5 years of supervisory experience requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience working independentlyExperience utilizing computers and MS Office softwareA valid driver's license is required if the employee will be transporting goods by car or truckOnsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipmentBenefits:Medical/Dental/Vision/Disability effective first of the month after the hire datePTO accrual begins upon hireReferral bonuses100% employee-owned plus 401k with company match
