People Operations Coordinator (Temporary)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented People Operations professional to support key HR processes and ensure a positive employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. This role will be responsible for maintaining HR systems and employee records, supporting payroll and benefits administration, coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities, assisting with compliance and reporting, and partnering with internal stakeholders to support day-to-day people operations

This is a temporary (6 months), part-time position (25 hrs) reporting to the People Experience Manage r.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations, Payroll & Benef

• itsMaintain employee data and ensure accuracy across HR systems and personnel records
• Support payroll processing activities, including employee updates, time tracking, and payroll audits
• Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
• Coordinate leave administration and maintain related documentation
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payroll and benefits-related issues

Onboarding & Offboarding

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including system setup, documentation, and cross-functional logistics
• Support employee training and orientation scheduling
• Maintain employee files and records in compliance with company policies
• Manage offboarding processes, including documentation, communications, and stakeholder coordination

Compliance & Reporting

• Generate regular and ad hoc HR reports and workforce data analyses
• Ensure employee records and HR processes remain compliant with applicable policies and regulations
• Support audits and documentation requests as needed

Additional People Operations Support

• Assist with employment documentation and workforce administration processes
• Track key employee lifecycle activities and maintain accurate records
• Support special projects and process improvement initiatives within the People team

Qualifications

• Experience supporting HR operations, payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS platforms
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with HR systems and reporting tools
• Familiarity with employee onboarding, offboarding, and compliance processes
• Experience supporting immigration, visa, or work authorization processes is a plus
