Bring your Labor & Delivery expertise to a versatile travel nursing role in Le Mars, Iowa! This opportunity is primarily focused on Obstetrics and Labor & Delivery , with additional Med-Surg coverage when OB needs are low. You’ll also have the opportunity to serve as Charge RN as needed while working in a nationally recognized Critical Access Hospital.

Position Details

• Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery / Med-Surg

• Primary Focus: Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery

• Additional Areas: Nursery, Mother/Baby, Med-Surg Adult, Med-Surg Pediatrics, Med-Surg Orthopedics

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: 12-hour shifts

• Schedule: Weekday and weekend day/night shifts

• Weekend: Required based on schedule

• Holiday: Holiday rotation

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements

• Active IA or Compact RN License

• Recent Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics experience required

• Strong Labor & Delivery clinical skills

• Ability to provide care across OB and Med-Surg settings

• Comfortable caring for patients in Nursery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, and Adult Med-Surg as needed

• Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts

• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays according to rotation

• Willingness to take Charge RN assignments when needed

• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and patient-care skills
