About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to take on a pivotal role in owning and advancing the brand, performance marketing, and integrated campaign development. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing registry-driven revenue, repositioning the marketing engine to target the 45+ gifter, and defending brand equity in a competitive landscape. This role demands a leader with a strong background in multi-brand consumer marketing, a proven track record in P&L-attached marketing, and a deep understanding of data-driven customer acquisition. The CMO will also be tasked with architecting the registry-to-loyalty flywheel, leading lifecycle programs, and building integrated brand campaigns that resonate with the target audience. Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have at least 15 years' of progressive marketing leadership experience, with a focus on omnichannel marketing and a history of ownership in measurement modernization. The role requires a hands-on approach to first-party data activation and direct experience in leading lifecycle marketing programs. The ideal candidate will have a background in a related industry, such as home furnishings or lifestyle, and a proven ability to defend brand investment to a finance-led leadership team. Personal and cultural fit are also key, with a preference for a leader who is a multi-brand operator, a patient builder, and a practitioner who is deeply engaged in the marketing operations.
