If you share our passion for beautiful cars, thrive on details, and want to be part of something extraordinary, this is your chance.Why You'll Love This Role:Perform inspection of vehicles and vehicle components in a manner that demonstrates, "Everything is Important."Develop and establish inspection standards/work instructions and inspection planSupport in-process inspection objectives by ensuring a stable and consistent workflow and resolving issues in a participative, proactive, and positive mannerWhat You'll Do:Perform dimensional inspection of parts, components, subassemblies, and assemblies for conformance to blueprints, engineering specifications, and Customer requirementAdditional inspection responsibilities may include performing body inspections of vehicles and vehicle components as required in accordance with Singer standards and operating procedures including but not limited to:Performing quality inspections during and after surfacing and paint processesPerforming quality inspections prior to or during assembly processesVerifying all required processes have been completed before releasing vehicle to next process stepTrack quality issues into Singer's nonconformance ticketing system and follow up on action items with action owner develop process mapsDevelop process mapsMaterial Review Board (MRB) trackingUse a variety of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauging equipmentPrepare and communicate inspection reports and communicate quality levels with the relevant internal and external teamsSupport planning/scheduling, engineering, procurement, and assembly teamsResponsible for work area safety and cleanlinessFollow relevant processes and proceduresWho We're Looking For:High school diploma with two (2) to four (4) years of relevant work experienceBonus points for prior experience in a rapid growth environmentKnowledge of the entire vehicle highly preferredHigh attention to detailEffective written and verbal communications skills; ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to othersTeam oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to multiple deadlinesExcellent time management with an ability to balance multiple projects and timelines and meet deadlinesStrong organizational, problem-solving, and collaborative skills with the ability to prioritize efficiently and effectively within and across departmentsComputer literate including emails, Excel, and other programsPositive attitude and strong work ethicsLocation & Schedule:This position is based in Torrance, CA and the schedule is Monday - Friday; 5:00am - 1:30pm with overtime.What We Offer - Benefits Driven by You:The starting pay range for this position is between $26.00 - $38.00 per hour, plus bonus.
