Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ growth and well-being as an Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher! This engaging position is available immediately and will run through May 2027, offering a flexible 20-hour work week across three non-public schools in San Dimas, Pasadena, and Chino Hills. You'll make a meaningful impact by providing specialized adaptive PE instruction and collaborating closely with students, staff, and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Credentialed as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
• Strong understanding of adaptive PE strategies, program planning, and modifications for diverse learners
• Experience supporting primary through secondary student populations a plus
• Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and participation in IEP meetings
• Commitment to maintaining student progress through regular and make-up sessions
• Ability to travel onsite to multiple school locations as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver adaptive PE instruction to a small caseload (6 students across three schools)
• Conduct individualized assessments and write progress reports
• Collaborate with staff and IEP teams to develop goals and appropriate modifications
• Maintain thorough documentation of services and student progress
• Participate in regular and make-up minutes to fulfill IEP requirements
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations
• Foster an inclusive and positive environment supporting student success

This is an onsite-only position, providing a chance to make a direct difference in the educational experience of students with unique physical education needs.
