Discover an exciting opportunity to build your career as a Special Education Teacher in the Riverside, CA area, working within a supportive school environment. This full-time contract role starts ASAP and runs through the end of the school year. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, providing resource support to students who benefit from individualized instruction and accommodations.
To be considered, candidates must hold an active California teaching credential (please provide a screenshot of your CTC credentials with your application). If you’re experienced, compassionate, and enthusiastic about making an impact in special education, this position is for you.
Qualifications:
- Valid, active California teaching credential in Special Education (required)
- Experience or strong interest in Resource Specialist Programs (RSP)
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs (caseload details are forthcoming)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students with special needs, following IEPs and tailored learning strategies
- Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families to foster student growth
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as needed
- Adjust teaching techniques to meet diverse learning needs
