Step into a rewarding contract position where your expertise in Adaptive Physical Education can spark positive change for students. This onsite assignment spans multiple non-public schools, focusing on delivering tailored APE services to a small and manageable caseload. You’ll have the opportunity to closely support students in San Dimas, Pasadena, and Chino Hills, advancing their physical development in environments designed to nurture their growth.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver adaptive physical education services to groups and individual students in accordance with IEP goals.
• Serve a caseload including 4 primary students in San Dimas, and one student each at two additional locations (Pasadena, Chino Hills).
• Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required.
• Provide both makeup and regularly scheduled service minutes according to student needs.
• Collaborate with school staff and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Craft engaging lessons and activities tailored to the abilities of each student, fostering participation and confidence.
• Maintain professional communication with families and educational teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid credential or certification in Adaptive Physical Education (APE).
• Experience working in school settings or with diverse student populations requiring adapted programming.
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation.
• Capacity to manage travel between multiple assigned locations (reliable transportation required).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

This contract offers a stable opportunity, with the assignment running ASAP through May 20, 2027, and provides consistent hours each week in an onsite-only setting.
