Preschool Assistant Director
The YMCA
The YMCA is seeking a Preschool Assistant Director to support daily operations of our licensed early childhood program. This role helps lead staff, ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment, and uphold state regulations and YMCA quality standards. The Assistant Director supports curriculum implementation, family communication, enrollment, and recordkeeping. They coach and schedule teachers, assist with budgeting and supplies, and model positive behavior management. This position collaborates closely with the Preschool Director to strengthen program quality and advance the YMCA mission of youth development and social responsibility.
