Training Specialist

The Training Specialist serves as a dynamic and results-driven individual with a focus on enhancing staff performance, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. He/She will be responsible for identifying training needs through collaboration with leadership, surveys, and internal audits. The Training Specialist will design and implement tailored training programs aligned with the organization’s goals, emphasizing early education and developmental services. Assess training and development needs through communication with leadership and managers, surveys, and audits. Develop unique and appropriate training programs to fulfill organization’s needs improve job skills, or overall quality assurance and compliance. Create and/or acquire training materials, including procedure manuals, guides, and training materials. Present training and development programs using diverse formats of adult training including group discussion, lectures, simulations, and videos. Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests or assessments, and retraining requirements. Responsible for assisting management personnel with the development of training plans for continued staff development. Facilitate onboarding for new staff with a 90-day training program for all new employees. Conduct ongoing training while working as a Client Service Specialist to support clients in receiving child services. Stay up to date with policy and procedure changes and implement new training materials. Other related duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in child development or a closely related field. A minimum of one-year full-time work experience in adult education or training, customer service, or social work OR high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years’ work experience in a CCMS support position. Computer proficiency required including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to utilize a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. Excellent demonstrated organizational, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, parents and external vendors with professionalism and diplomacy. Must be legally authorized to work in US/TX. Position subject to successful completion of background checks. Physical Requirements Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods. Repetitive use of hands for reaching, handling, and turning. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds; includes light lifting of supplies and materials. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to twist, turn, kneel, bend, and stoop as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
