The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Train and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to ensure material availability.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize overall manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and developing production team members.
• Proficient in using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and other production management software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production planning and inventory management
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
• Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, GMP)
