Summary:

We Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Med Surg unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high clinical standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor ongoing conditions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Assist with ADLs and patient mobility where applicable
- Monitor vitals, pain levels, and report any clinical changes
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control and safety protocols

Unit Details: Med Surg | Acute Care | Hospital Setting. Work Environment: High-acuity, team-based setting requiring adaptability and strong clinical judgment 

Requirements

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in Med Surg
- Experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
- ACLS preferred (required for ICU/ER settings)
- Experience with IV therapy, telemetry, and high-acuity patients
- Ability to manage multiple patients in Med Surg unit
