Claims Operations Analyst

Location: San Antonio, TX Duration: 12 Months Pay Rate: $25/hr

Job Overview: We are seeking a Claims Operations Analyst to support business process services within insurance claims operations. This role focuses on operational reporting, data management, administrative support, and process documentation to help maintain efficient day-to-day claims operations and support ongoing initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience handling data-heavy administrative work, and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks in a fast-paced environment. Insurance or claims experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull, organize, and enter data across claims systems and spreadsheets
• Maintain operational reports and tracking documentation
• Perform administrative support functions including filing, system updates, and document management
• Assist with process mapping and workflow documentation
• Build and maintain KPI and operational health reporting
• Validate and compile data for ongoing initiatives and reporting needs
• Identify data discrepancies and support continuous improvement efforts
• Document process changes and maintain updated reference materials
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support operational initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
• 2+ years of experience in:
  • Data entry
  • Reporting
  • Administrative support
  • Operations support
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including:
  • Data organization
  • Basic formulas
  • Spreadsheet management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Insurance or property claims experience
• Experience with process mapping or process documentation
• Experience supporting operational reporting environments
