AI Consultant

Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 6 months I CONSULTANT Description AI / ML Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Generative AI & LLMs: GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini; prompt engineering and agentic architectures Cloud AI Platforms: Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, AWS SageMaker & Bedrock, Google Vertex AI MLOps: CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, governance, retraining, and security Data Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, cloud-native data lakes Utility Systems & Data: SCADA, AMI, OMS, GIS, DERMS, EAM Former Head of AI, Chief AI Officer, AI Practice Leader, or AI Startup Founder Experience running AI departments, AI CoEs, or small AI-focused companies Proven record of building AI teams and scaling production-grade AI solutions Prior consulting experience with North American utilities Roles & Responsibilities Define and lead AI & GenAI strategy for electric, gas, and water utilities Advise CIO, CTO, CDO, and business leaders on AI-led operating model transformation Architect and deliver end-to-end AI and GenAI solutions from concept to production Lead large-scale AI programs across grid operations, asset management, customer operations, and energy transition Establish AI governance, Responsible AI, and regulatory compliance (e.g., NERC CIP) Build and scale AI teams, Centers of Excellence, and reusable accelerators Support pre-sales, RFPs, executive solutioning, and strategic pursuits Generic Managerial Skills, If any Executive presence with ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders Strong communication, storytelling, and business value articulation Experience leading multidisciplinary, globally distributed teams Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping new AI-led offerings Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
