Staff Accountant Department: Accounting Employment Type: Full Time Location: Holmes, PA Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 / year Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Staff Accountant to join our team at Green Star Exteriors. The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and assisting with payroll, benefits administration, and job costing. Green Star Exteriors is a fast-growing exterior home remodeling company located just outside of Philadelphia. Key Responsibilities & Requirements Handling the fundamental aspects of the organization's financial record keeping and recording accounting transactions Processing all accounts payable and receivable, bank statement reconciliations, and general ledger posting using QuickBooks Payroll processing, invoicing, and job costing Managing employee benefits and 401k Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred 5+ years of Bookkeeping or Accounting experience in the construction industry (preferred)Payroll processing, invoicing and job costing Extensive experience with QuickBooks Desktop Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Experience working with general contractors or subcontractors QuickBooks Certification Experience with Job Costing and construction accounting Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match PTO Paid holidays A collaborative and growth-oriented team environment Compensation Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
