Shipping & Receiving Associate – 77066

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday pay is $17.00 an hour
• Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Temp to Hire)
• Must be flexible , as the schedule may transition to 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM based on business needs.
• Located in North Houston – 77066

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both stand-up reach trucks and sit-down forklifts while safely handling incoming and outgoing shipments. This position requires excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
• Prepare, stage, and load outbound shipments accurately and on time.
• Operate stand-up reach trucks and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and organize inventory.
• Verify shipments against packing slips and shipping documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous Shipping & Receiving experience required.
• Required experience operating stand-up reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and warehouse inventory experience is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed and be flexible with schedule changes.
