This onsite role spans from late October 2026 through January 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact over the course of the academic term. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, students, and families, addressing challenges and promoting academic, social, and behavioral growth.

Qualifications:

• Active Social Worker (SW) License accompanied by a School Social Worker endorsement (#071)
• Prior experience or formal training in school-based social work
• Deep understanding of students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services and interventions to students across grade levels
• Develop individualized support plans in collaboration with teachers and families
• Facilitate group and one-on-one counseling sessions to address academic and personal challenges
• Participate actively in team meetings, IEP reviews, and strategy sessions
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for school staff regarding student welfare and crisis intervention
• Maintain strict confidentiality and meticulous documentation of student interactions
