Reports To: SEO Manager

Job Category: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Job Location: 100% work-from-home

Job Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pacific Time (1:00 AM - 10:00 AM Manila Time)

The Opportunity

We're looking for an SEO Content Strategist who can own the end-to-end SEO content workflow. You'll build content roadmaps, conduct keyword and topic research, generate detailed briefs, manage content calendars, and QA every article or landing page before it goes live. The Client

This client is a growth-focused marketing partner built to scale emerging and multi-location brands through data-driven strategies, creative storytelling, and full-funnel execution. They believe that growth isn't one-size-fits-all, it's built on deep business discovery, tailored roadmaps, and measurable impact.

They offer services spanning SEO, content, paid media, retention (email/SMS), web design, and analytics, all unified under their proprietary approach to scaling brands that want predictable growth, not just campaigns.

The client wants someone who can:

• Develop strategy
• Create content briefs
• Manage the editorial calendar
• QA content
• Execute SEO optimizations

Your Mission

• SEO Content Strategy: Create content strategies rooted in search intent, keyword opportunities, and competitive insights
• Content Brief Creation: Produce detailed, SEO-optimized content briefs for writers
• Editorial Calendar Ownership: Plan, schedule, and manage content production timelines
• Content QA & Review: Ensure blogs and landing pages meet SEO standards before publishing
• On-Page Optimization: Execute updates to metadata, headers, content flow, linking, and page structure
• Keyword & Topic Research: Continuously identify high-value topics that support organic growth
• Performance Monitoring: Track rankings, measure content performance, and optimize underperforming assets
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with writers, designers, and developers to ensure content aligns with brand and UX
• Playbook Development: Maintain guidelines, templates, and SEO content SOPs

Who You Are

• SEO Content Specialist: 2–4 years in SEO content strategy, on-page SEO, or editorial SEO
• Strong Writer & Editor: Able to structure content that ranks, engages, and converts
• Organized & Methodical: Great at managing calendars, workflows, and deadlines
• On-Page SEO Expert: Familiar with SERP analysis, keyword placement, metadata, and content structure
• Analytical & Curious: Comfortable interpreting SEO data to adjust strategy and content direction
• Clear Communicator: Confident working with writers and cross-functional stakeholders
• Self-Starter: Thrives in remote work and can operate independently

Bonus Points If You Have

1. Experience with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, SurferSEO, Clearscope, or Frase
2. Background in editorial workflows or managing writers
3. Understanding of E-E-A-T and helpful content principles
