This role sits at the center of the development organization, helping to ensure projects, initiatives, and team priorities remain organized, aligned, and on track.What You'll DoThe ideal candidate will combine strong organizational skills with an interest in renewable energy development, community engagement, and cross-functional project coordination.Maintain project tracking systems, development dashboards, and key milestone reporting across the development portfolioSupport development leadership with internal project management, meeting coordination, action item tracking, and strategic initiativesCoordinate cross-functional communication among development, permitting, engineering, finance, legal, and external stakeholdersAssist with utility, corporate, and government RFP processes, including document management, data collection, and submission coordinationSupport community engagement efforts, including public meetings, stakeholder outreach, and local relationship managementCoordinate conference participation, industry events, project milestones, and team meetingsPrepare internal presentations, development updates, project summaries, and other communications materialsAssist with consultant coordination, contract tracking, and administrative support for development projectsMaintain organized project documentation and support reporting needs across the development teamIdentify opportunities to improve internal processes, reporting, and team efficiencySupport special projects and other strategic initiatives as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in business, communications, public policy, environmental studies, renewable energy, or a related field1–3 years of experience in project management, operations, consulting, renewable energy, real estate, infrastructure, or a related fieldStrong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExperience with project management, scheduling, and collaboration tools such as Notion, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms is a plusAbility to work effectively across teams and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a proactive approach to problem-solvingAt DESRI, we consider a wide range of factors to determine your compensation. We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, location, skills, and experience. The expected annual base salary for this position is $70,000 - $80,000.Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, paid time off, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
