Senior Program Coordinator – Degree Progress Report (DPR) SupportSigma Systems is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Program Coordinator to support Degree Progress Report (DPR), degree audit, student records, and Student Information System (SIS) operations. This is a fully remote contract opportunity ideal for candidates with experience in higher education, academic advising, student records, data management, or program coordination.The Temporary Senior Program Coordinator will support the implementation, maintenance, testing, validation, and operational activities associated with degree audit and Student Information System processes.The role will focus on accurate data entry, system record updates, data validation, documentation, discrepancy research, and routine project coordination to help maintain accurate student-facing Degree Progress Reports while senior functional staff handle complex configuration, testing, and issue resolution.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Degree Progress Report (DPR) sharing rule maintenance, updates, and related documentation.Assist with course list configuration and maintenance for graduate degree progress reports and auto-graduation readiness.Perform high-volume data entry and Student Information System record updates.Assist with entering and validating academic advising rules, sharing rules, course applicability, and other degree audit configuration.Conduct quality assurance and validation of degree audit data, academic requirements, course applicability, and student records.Identify, research, document, and correct data discrepancies affecting Degree Progress Reports and academic requirements.Maintain project documentation, implementation tracking materials, academic advising support documentation, and electronic project files.Use Microsoft Word, Excel, spreadsheets, and other office software to monitor progress, document results, and support project activities.Complete routine operational tasks and general DPR project support under the direction of the Associate Director for Academic Advising.Follow established procedures and escalate complex issues to appropriate functional staff.Collaborate with DPR and academic advising staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned work.Required QualificationsStrong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy when working with student records and institutional data.Experience performing data entry, data validation, records maintenance, or administrative system updates.Ability to follow established procedures and learn new business processes and systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.Proficiency with: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, electronic file management, standard office applications.Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with student information and institutional records.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Effective collaboration skills in a remote work environment.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Preferred ExperienceExperience as a Senior Program Coordinator, Program Coordinator, Academic Coordinator, Student Services Coordinator, or similar role.Experience supporting: student records, academic advising, degree audits, Degree Progress Reports (DPR), transfer credits, academic requirements, higher education administration, Student Information Systems.Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions or a similar Student Information System is strongly preferred.Experience working with academic records, degree requirements, or student-facing academic systems is highly desirable.The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented program coordinator who can independently manage high-volume data and administrative tasks while maintaining exceptional accuracy. The candidate should be comfortable researching discrepancies, following established procedures, maintaining documentation, and escalating issues appropriately.Candidates with backgrounds in higher education, student services, academic advising, student records, registrar operations, PeopleSoft, degree audit, or Student Information Systems are encouraged to apply.
