Overview Location: 2122 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 - Cross Streets: N Scottsdale Rd & E Oak St Status: Full-Time Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a week; rotating weekends and occasional holidays required Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) + monthly bonus + APP supervision stipend Benefits: Full-benefits package available Position Summary We are seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable) Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted license for MD/DO Board certification or eligibility, as applicable Active DEA license Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certification EHR proficiency Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees paid) Must be willing to supervise physician assistants as per AZ Medical Board guidelines - will be compensated for these duties Preferred Qualifications Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care) Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, serving communities with accessible, affordable, high-quality care across 160+ locations in 11 states.
