Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial patient assessments, gathering detailed medical histories and understanding their functional limitations and personal recovery goals.
• Design and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment outcomes, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Guide patients through their treatment journey using progressive exercise prescriptions, manual therapy techniques, and education about their conditions.
• Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans as necessary, monitoring patient progress and ensuring alignment with established goals.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and treatment interventions, adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with adults undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding them through evidence-based rehabilitation protocols, focusing on empowering them to achieve their physical goals.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted physical therapy license for the State of California.
• Clear record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures concerning the license.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques relevant to orthopedic conditions.
• Ability to create and execute personalized exercise regimens that promote patient recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting with a strong patient-centered approach.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to enhance documentation and patient management.
• Continuing education or certification in advanced manual therapy techniques or specialized orthopedic rehabilitation approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
