About the Position

Job Title: Case Manager Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year of oncology experience required. License: Registered Nurse License required. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Prefer certification in chemotherapy (ONS/ONCC) and oncology certified nurse (OCN). Description: Case Manager for a clinic setting. Works with the authorization department. Handles new patient referrals. Collaborates with multiple departments to schedule appointments. Responds to patient messages through the electronic health record system. Experience with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and stem cell transplant preferred. Patient education and support are key responsibilities. Must be able to recognize and communicate abnormal lab values. Experience in outpatient oncology is preferred. Knowledge of bone marrow transplant processes is a plus. Ability to manage side effects and provide care coordination is essential.
