About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: GI (Gastrointestinal) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Procedural Sedation experience required Must-Have: Advanced GI RN experience in procedures such as screening colonoscopies, EGDs, interventional EGDs, motility studies, Bravo EGDs, ERCPs, and EUS's. Description: This position involves working in an ambulatory surgery setting. The average number of procedures performed each day is 7. Candidates are expected to float to different areas as needed. Call requirements include two 24-hour shifts and one 12-hour shift within a 30-day schedule. The team covers all GI procedures done in outpatient surgery, emergency departments, and critical care areas. Procedural experience is essential. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Team collaboration with other health professionals is expected. This role requires adaptability and a commitment to patient care in a dynamic environment.
