Job Description:Title: Work-Based Learning (WBL) CoordinatorClassification: Non-ExemptSalary: $50,000/yearScope of Position: The Work-Based Learning Coordinator will develop, manage, and oversee worksite placements for paid work experience, internships, and other work-based learning opportunities for jobseekers.Key Responsibilities:Recruit, screen, and approve worksites in alignment with WIOA and HGCY criteriaConduct worksite inspections and ensure youth-friendly, safe environmentsSupport employers with onboarding, supervision guidelines, and agreementsMonitor youth placements to ensure skill-building and occupational exposureTrack and document skills attainmentCoordinate and process youth timekeeping and payrollOther opportunities as availableEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experienceKnowledge of workplace safety and supervision standardsExperience working with employers and community partnersUnderstanding of occupational skills frameworks and training alignmentStrong organizational and negotiation skillsAbility to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base, with the ability to be culturally sensitiveAbility to serve as a role model to customers and motivate them towards achieving goalsAbility to read and interpret policies and proceduresExperience in workforce developmentValid driver’s license and clean driving record requiredJob AdWork-Based Learning CoordinatorGulf Coast RegionDo you have a passion for making a difference in someone’s life?
