Four Hands is where passion meets purpose and where your next chapter begins.We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salesforce Developer / Administrator with 4–5 years of hands-on experience managing complex Salesforce environments, executing deployments, and delivering scalable business solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with teams across Technology, Sales, Operations, and Marketing. This role will serve as both a technical expert and trusted system owner, ensuring Salesforce capabilities are fully leveraged to meet business needs while maintaining governance, performance, and data integrity.In This RolePlatform Administration & ConfigurationManage user accounts, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security settings to ensure proper access and data protectionCustomize Salesforce objects, record types, fields, Lightning pages, and layouts to optimize user experience and data managementBuild and manage Flows, workflow rules, and approval processes, focusing on automation and efficiencyDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support operational and leadership reportingUse Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and other tools for data import/export, cleansing, and validationConduct regular data audits, backups, and validations to maintain system integrity and complianceDevelopment & CustomizationWrite and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and scheduled processes for automation and integrationBuild Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce pages to extend system functionalityIntegrate Salesforce with third-party systems via APIs and middleware tools to enable seamless data flowPerform code reviews, unit testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and reliabilityDeployments & Release ManagementPlan, manage, and execute deployments across sandbox and production environments using Change Sets, Ant Migration Tool, and Salesforce CLI (SFDX)Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth, low-risk releasesMaintain detailed deployment and configuration documentation for traceability and complianceMonitor post-deployment performance and implement corrective actions as neededCollaboration & SupportAct as a primary point of contact for Salesforce-related inquiries, enhancements, and troubleshootingPartner with business analysts, project managers, and end users to gather and refine requirementsDeliver end-user training, create documentation, and promote best practices across the organizationParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups to ensure alignment and timely deliverySystem Optimization & GovernanceMonitor system health, identify areas for improvement, and implement performance enhancementsStay informed of Salesforce seasonal releases, evaluating and deploying relevant new featuresMaintain adherence to data governance, security, and compliance policiesSupport documentation of configurations, architecture, and integrations for transparency and audit readinessOther DutiesOther duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualificationsUphold our core values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team:Be open and honestReach for excellenceAct with responsibilityValue the whole personEnjoy the journeyThe Ideal Person4+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer and AdministratorSalesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Advanced Administrator requiredStrong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative automation tools such as FlowsProven experience with Salesforce deployments, upgrades, and integrations in multi-environment orgsDemonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable, technical Salesforce solutionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and system scalabilityExcellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teamsAbout Four HandsHeadquartered in Austin, Texas, since 1996, Four Hands crafts furniture, art and décor — pieces that are all about creating space.
