Salesforce DeveloperLocation: Austin, TX (5 Days on-site) Type: Fulltime Duration: Long TermAbout the Role:We're looking for a Salesforce Developer responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Salesforce solutions that enable our distribution, operations, and service teams to work more effectively. This role serves as a key technical contributor within our Salesforce environment and will be responsible for developing custom applications, integrations, automations, and user experiences that support strategic business objectives. The Salesforce Developer will partner closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce Administrators, Product Owners, and Technology teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions across the organization.What You'll Do:Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and platform automation toolsDevelop and maintain custom applications, business logic, triggers, batch processes, and asynchronous processing solutions while adhering to Salesforce best practices and governor limitsCreate and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and solution designsParticipate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions to ensure long term platform scalability and maintainabilityBuild and enhance Salesforce capabilities supporting producer management, wholesaler workflows, territory management, pipeline visibility, and sales activity trackingDevelop user-focused solutions that improve operational efficiency, data quality, adoption, and reporting capabilitiesSupport enhancements to security models, role hierarchies, sharing rules, and permission structures to ensure appropriate access controlsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver effective solutionsDesign, develop, and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systemsConfigure and support Connected Apps, Named Credentials, OAuth authentication, and related integration technologiesDevelop scalable automation solutions that streamline business processes and improve operational effectivenessEnsure integrations are reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise technology standardsSupport application lifecycle management using Salesforce DX, source control platforms, and CI/CD deployment processesCoordinate releases, deployments, testing activities, and environment management across multiple Salesforce environmentsMaintain code quality standards, testing practices, and deployment controls to support a stable production environmentAssist with platform governance, documentation, technical debt management, and change management processesPartner closely with Distribution, Operations, Compliance, Data & Analytics, and Technology teams to support business initiativesCollaborate with Salesforce Administrators to determine the appropriate balance between declarative configuration and custom developmentProvide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to team members and stakeholdersContribute to continuous improvement efforts and help identify opportunities to optimize business processes through technologyMaintain awareness of security, compliance, regulatory, and data governance requirements within a highly regulated environmentSupport the protection of sensitive customer, producer, and business information through secure development practicesPartner with Compliance, Information Security, and business leaders to ensure solutions align with organizational standards and requirementsEnsure technical documentation, processes, and solutions meet audit and governance expectationsWhat You'll Bring:8+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) developmentStrong experience building and supporting Salesforce applications in enterprise environmentsDemonstrated experience developing REST and SOAP API integrations with internal and external systemsExperience designing scalable solutions within Salesforce's security and data model frameworkStrong knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce Flows, and platform automation capabilitiesExperience working within Agile development teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience supporting business-critical applications in a regulated industry such as insurance, financial services, healthcare, or banking preferredTechnical Skills:Advanced proficiency in Apex development including triggers, batch processing, asynchronous processing, and custom business logicStrong expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC)Experience with Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git-based version control, and CI/CD deployment toolsKnowledge of Salesforce security architecture, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level securityExperience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, OAuth 2.0 authentication, Connected Apps, and Named CredentialsProficiency in Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and CRM Analytics conceptsExperience with Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and event driven architecture preferredSalesforce Platform Developer certification preferred;
