Job Description Outpatient Physical Therapist POSITION TYPE: Physical Therapist SPECIALTY UNIT: Outpatient Orthopedics LOCATION: Port Orchard, WA SHIFT: Days JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent Job Overview We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist to act as the patients partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best. The Outpatient Physical Therapist will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and assess patients' physical condition, medical history, and treatment goals. Develop treatment plans based on patient needs, including exercises, stretches, and other therapeutic techniques. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide education to patients and their families about exercises, injury prevention, and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to coordinate patient care. Stay current with advances in physical therapy treatments and techniques. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. State licensure in Washington as a Physical Therapist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
