CNC Machinist Level 1 & 2Location: Lancaster, PAShifts Available: 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (40 hours/week) Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PMPay Rate: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)Employment Type: Full-TimeStaffing Partner: Partners PersonnelPosition Summary: Partners Personnel is seeking CNC Machinists (Level 1 & 2) to join a precision manufacturing team in Lancaster, PA. This role involves advanced machine setup, operating CNC equipment, process troubleshooting, and achieving tight tolerances. Level 2 machinists will also support process improvement efforts and mentor junior staff.Key Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC and grinding equipment, including: Cylindrical Grinding WEDM (Wire EDM) Surface GrindingPreferred additional experience in: Core Drill CNC Slice SPLAP Centerless Grind MWSAchieve and maintain precision tolerances below.0005Perform troubleshooting of mechanical and quality issuesCollaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve process and inspection challengesTrain and mentor Level 1 machinists and operatorsDocument and refine setup procedures and standard work instructionsConduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actionsAssist with machine repair and preventive maintenanceMaintain safety, quality, and production standardsSupport autonomous maintenance routines and schedulesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of CNC machining experienceExpertise in tight-tolerance machining (below.0005)Strong mechanical skills and proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&TKey Traits for Success:Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgencyInnovative problem solver with a focus on qualityTeam player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist othersIntegrity-driven and committed to continuous learningAdaptable and eager to take on new challengesWork Environment & Physical Requirements:Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noiseStanding, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularlyManual dexterity and good visual acuity requiredMust follow all safety, quality, and operational protocols
