Solutions Engineer - Purchase Order MgtJob Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite)# Positions: 1Employment Type: C2HKey Technology: Java, SQL/NoSQL database, AzureJob Responsibilities:Act as the lead engineer for each domainCollaborate with Solution Architects to ensure understanding needed for engineering level guidance to nearshore teamsTranslate architecture design to engineering level guidanceOwn specifying architectural designs into sprint-ready engineering tasks for assigned domainEnsure delivery to the solution architecture within domainAnswer design questions for sprint teamsParticipate in backlog refinement sessions to align team with the architectureAct as the internal technical expert supporting Product design and Engineering teams on demonstrations and technical discussions.Create/Update documentation such as solution design patterns and engineering standards.Lead technical discussions around APIs, integrations, data flow, compliance and security.Serve as a trusted advisor on best practices, technical implementation, and scalability.Skills and Experience Required:Required:8+ years in backend, full-stack, or cloud-based software engineeringExpertise in backend service development using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure Service BusDemonstrated ability to manage backend workflows efficientlyStrong backend services and secure API design skills are a mustStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery frameworksProven experience delivering solutions using Azure PaaS servicesSolid knowledge of system architecture, API design, and integration patternsExperience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL)Knowledge of secure API development using Azure Key Vaults and Redis cachingExperience with Cosmos DB and Azure SQL storage integrationsFamiliarity with Kubernetes for container orchestrationFamiliarity with caching (Redis) and secure key management (Azure Key Vault)Tech Stack: Java, rxJava, Spring Boot, Azure Functions (C#), Azure Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, App Insights, Azure SQL, Redis, Azure Key Vaults
