Work Environment

This full-time position is located in our outpatient office in Fredericksburg, offering a collaborative and supportive work setting. As a Physical Therapist at TruSolutions, you will benefit from a structured work schedule that allows for a balanced work-life routine, typically working Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM, with a shorter workday on Fridays. This schedule is designed to accommodate both the needs of our patients and the personal well-being of our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using established physical therapy practices tailored to their specific needs.
• Consult with patients and caregivers to educate them on treatments and home care practices, ensuring they understand their rehabilitation plans.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Utilize advanced assessment skills to perform both subjective and objective evaluations, developing comprehensive treatment plans based on individual evaluations.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with regulatory, facility, and departmental policies.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Mentor and supervise physical therapy assistants, aides, office staff, and students, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry practices and enhance skills relevant to the setting.
• Participate in program development and marketing strategies aimed at expanding our physical therapy referral base and enhancing the department's service offerings.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction continuously.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical functions necessary for therapy, including lifting, walking, squatting, and manual dexterity.

Compensation and Benefits
