We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team within a metal fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire production process of metal components, from interpreting blueprints to final assembly, ensuring all products meet stringent quality and structural specifications.

Welder/Fabricator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.50 to $22.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Saturday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)

• Construct, cut, join, and shape various metals into functional products or structural components.
• Manage the end-to-end production process, from raw material handling to finished assembly.
• Accurately interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
• Perform precise and consistent welds that adhere to strict industry and structural codes.
• Demonstrate a proven history of successfully welding heavy structural beams in a fabrication shop environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including performing facility maintenance and janitorial duties such as mowing and cleaning restrooms as required.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, including storing personal cell phones in a vehicle or company-provided locker during all working hours.

Welder/Fabricator Qualifications:

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.* **Overtime:** Required on Saturdays as needed to meet production demands.
• Demonstrated history and proficiency in welding heavy structural beams within a fabrication shop setting.
• Proven experience with miscellaneous fabrication techniques and tasks.
• Ability to successfully pass a flux core plate weld test.
• Ability to successfully pass a MIG welding test.
• Experience with TIG welding.
• Experience welding various types of steel.
