Uses principles of aseptic technique to establish and maintain a sterile field. Facilitates efficient completion of the surgery schedule. Maintains organized work area and participates in daily unit duties. Assumes the responsibility of the professional surgical technician by demonstrating accountability and seeking opportunities for continued growth. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. BCLS required. Certification for Surgical Technology with the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. 6 months experience as a Surgical Tech.
