Project Manager

Responsibilities Assist Project Managers in overseeing projects from start to finish Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment towards successful project completion Ensure proper close-out of projects occurs, including handoff to the warranty department Perform preliminary scheduling Review project plans & specifications Coordinate with Designers, as necessary Submit Requests-For-Information (RFIs), as needed Monitor project conditions and submit Change Proposals (CPs) as needed Maintain change-order, submittal, RFI registries Submit documentation close-out per project specifications Requirements Advanced organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Computer, internet, and software knowledge and skills Intermediate accounting, research, report development, and documentation skills Basic human resource management if personnel are supervised Basic knowledge of state/federal OSHA and other key regulations/compliance laws Basic purchasing, record keeping, and contract management knowledge Demonstrable knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Basic knowledge of Scheduling Software—MS Project Basic knowledge of manpower planning and construction principles, methods, and practice OSHA30 certification Core Competencies Demonstrates strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities while effectively coordinating project resources and ensuring compliance with regulations. Proficient in project documentation and scheduling, with a solid understanding of construction principles and practices.
