Role Description The Insurance Agent role at Bankers Life is a full-time, on‑site position based in Satellite Beach, FL. In this role, the agent meets with clients in person to assess their insurance and financial needs and recommends appropriate solutions, such as life, health, and retirement‑related products. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and following up with leads, conducting one‑on‑one consultations, preparing and presenting policy options, and assisting clients with applications and policy servicing. The agent also maintains accurate records, stays informed about product offerings and regulatory requirements, and participates in ongoing training and development. Collaboration with local office team members and engagement in community outreach activities are key parts of the role. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to explain complex coverage options clearly and ethically. Experience in Insurance Brokerage or similar advisory environments, supporting clients in selecting suitable policies. Foundational knowledge of Finance, including basic retirement planning and income protection concepts. Strong Customer Service skills, with a track record of building long‑term relationships and responding promptly to client needs. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain applicable state insurance licenses; prior licensure is a plus. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort in conducting face‑to‑face consultations.
