Business Development Coordinator Krazan & Associates, Inc. is a full-service engineering firm with offices across the West Coast. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Development Coordinator to support our growth initiatives within the geotechnical engineering sector at our Bakersfield, CA office. This role plays a key part in identifying new business opportunities, supporting proposal development, and coordinating client engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research and track RFPs/RFQs across civil, construction, and infrastructure sectors Assist Regional and Project Managers with bid and proposal package preparation Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering top-tier customer service Identify new project opportunities aligned with our geotechnical, environmental, and testing services Maintain accurate and up to date records in CRM and internal tracking systems Qualifications: Professional attitude, solid follow-through, and proactive mindset Familiarity with geotechnical, environmental, or construction services (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Bonus: Marketing, proposal writing, or AEC industry experience.
