Assistant or Associate Professor of Management - Strategic Management/International Business

Job Description The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Management in the David W. Wilson College of Business seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Management, starting August 2027. Primary teaching responsibilities will be courses in international management and strategic management at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants seeking a balance in teaching/research responsibilities will find a collegial work environment and a faculty actively engaged and committed to the growth and continuous improvement of the majors in the Management Department. Salary and benefits are competitive with peer institutions. Education Requirements Ph.D. in Strategic Management, International Business/Management, or a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited doctoral program required. ABDs are welcome to apply with an expected degree completion date by August 1, 2027. Required Qualifications Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching with evidence of a student-focused approach; demonstrated ability to produce peer-reviewed publishable research that provides insights into issues critical for decision-makers; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; and enterprising and demonstrated effectiveness as a member of a collaborative team required. Assistant-level applicants must demonstrate the potential to produce peer-reviewed, publishable research that provides insights into issues critical for decision-makers. Associate-level applicants must demonstrate evidence of scholarship appropriate for the rank. Preferred Qualifications Stand-alone or independent teaching experience; and relevant work experience in a firm preferred.
