Job Summary:

Assist in the delivery of patient care within the EP/CATH Lab, supporting complex procedures such as pacemaker implants, ablations, and Watchman device placements. Provide technical and clinical support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for electrophysiology and catheterization procedures.
  
  
• 
  Support physicians by scrubbing all procedures performed in the Electrophysiology lab.
  
  
• 
  Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment including GE and ESI systems, Meditech, and MacLab.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  
  
• 
  Respond effectively to procedural and patient needs during high-acuity cases.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold ACLS certification and demonstrate proficiency in EKG interpretation.
  
  
• 
  Have at least 2 years of related experience in an acute care electrophysiology or catheterization lab.
  
  
• 
  Previous experience scrubbing all procedures in electrophysiology, including pacemakers, Ablations, and Watchman.
  
  
• 
  Possess current licensure as an RN or CVT, RT, or RCIS certification preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
