Role Description The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater New Orleans Region. This role is responsible for managing and growing a territory by visiting existing and prospective customers, presenting product and service solutions, and identifying opportunities for new business development. Daily activities include conducting in-person sales calls, preparing tailored sales presentations, providing responsive customer service, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries. The representative will maintain detailed records of customer interactions, track sales activities, and follow up on leads to build a strong pipeline. This position also involves staying current on Gas and Supply’s product offerings and industry trends to deliver informed recommendations and meet customer needs effectively. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Sales Presentations and New Business Development skills to effectively communicate value and expand the customer base. Candidates should possess Relationship Building and Customer Service skills to maintain long-term accounts and support customer satisfaction. Candidates should possess clear, professional Communication skills for in-person meetings, phone calls, and written correspondence. Relevant experience in outside or industrial sales, preferably in welding supplies, gases, or safety products. Ability to travel within the Greater New Orleans Region and work on-site at customer locations. Proficiency with basic CRM tools, sales reporting, and Microsoft Office or similar applications. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a territory, and meet or exceed sales targets.
