Powered By Innovation, Passion, And Purpose. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at K&A Power Group in Hartford, Connecticut. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. You’ll be part of a dynamic, people-focused team where your expertise, ideas, and contributions will be valued and celebrated. Provide high level project management overview, expertise, and direction. Provide overall management of the project with knowledge & experience in all segments (overhead, substation, and underground), including schedule and budget management. Initiation, Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects — defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline, and OBS structure, initiating the project, building its comprehensive work plan, controlling and managing the risks, scope, schedule, and budget Managing Teams — facilitating commitment and productivity, removing obstacles, and managing teams Oversee the Engineering team and provide support to field & design. Implementation and Management of Quality and Environmental Processes and Procedures on all projects Management of third-party projects Accountable and Responsible for: Cost /Budgeting and Management Communication Management Change Management Schedule Management Construction Management Oversight Commissioning Management Oversight Risk Management Regulatory and Stakeholder Management What we’re looking for: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Engineering Management, or Construction Management discipline preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred 20+ years of relevant project management experience in large-scale utility projects Strong experience with EPC Projects, Contract Models and Management Strong Safety-First Focus Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting Excellent leadership and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with competing priorities and stressful situations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Must be able to travel to office for meetings Pay Range $140,000—$160,000/year Why Join K&A?
