Senior Payroll & HR Administrator

If you're experienced with California union payroll, Paylocity, certified payroll, and HR administration, this is an opportunity to join a stable company supporting critical roadway safety projects throughout the state.

What You'll Do

✅ Process full-cycle payroll for union, hourly, and salaried employees

✅ Interpret and apply California union agreements, wage classifications, overtime rules, and fringe benefits

✅ Manage union reports, dues, and benefit contributions

✅ Support certified payroll and prevailing wage compliance

✅ Administer employee onboarding, status changes, and terminations

✅ Serve as a trusted resource for payroll and HR questions

✅ Lead Paylocity payroll, timekeeping, and HRIS administration

✅ Ensure compliance with California labor laws and union agreements

✅ Generate payroll, compliance, and operational reports

What We're Looking For

✔ 5+ years of California payroll experience

✔ Strong hands-on experience with Paylocity

✔ Union payroll expertise required

✔ Knowledge of California wage & hour laws

✔ Payroll tax compliance experience

✔ Experience supporting field, construction, traffic control, or infrastructure workforces preferred

✔ Certified payroll and prevailing wage experience a plus

✔ ⭐ High-impact role supporting a large union workforce

Compensation

$75,000 - $90,000 annually Pay will be based on experience, skills, certifications, and location.
